2019 Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme at UK Universities

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for applicants from the least developed and lowest middle-income countries of the Commonwealth, for a full-time Master's degree in selected courses, supported jointly by UK universities.

 The scholarships do not include undergraduate courses, doctoral studies or pre-sessional teaching of English.

 Target group: Nationals of an eligible Commonwealth country 

The value / inclusions / duration of the scholarship: Each scholarship provides approved tuition and examination fees, approved airfare from your home country to the United Kingdom and returns at the end of your award, grants at a rate of £ 1,084 per month, or £ 1,330 per month for students studying at universities in the metropolitan area of London (tariffs listed at 2). 
Stipends are usually only available for one year. 

Eligibility: Candidates must apply for a commonwealth scholarship:
 • Be a citizen of an eligible Commonwealth country or be a British protected person or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country or be a British protected person
 • Be a permanent resident in a developing Commonwealth country 
• Be available to start your academic studies in the United Kingdom by the start of the UK academic year in September / October 2019 
• By October 2019, hold a first grade of at least upper second grade (2:1) or a second grade (2:1) or second grade (2:1) or second grade).
• You have not studied or worked in a developed country for one (academic) year or more
• You can not afford to study in the United Kingdom without this scholarship 

Application Instructions: You should apply for an eligible master's course at a university in the United Kingdom that participates in the scholarship program.
 In addition to applying for a shared scholarship, you have to secure admission to your course. 
You must check your selected university for specific advice on when to apply, admission requirements and application rules. 
In addition to any other application you are required to complete, you must apply using the online application system of the CSC. 
No later than 14 March 2019, all applications must be submitted by 16.00 (GMT). 
Each university has its own admissions closing date.
